Extension for Bond Claim

Unless a mechanic’s lien is foreclosed upon – or enforced by filing suit – the lien expires by law. To prevent this, lien claimants may file for an Extension of the lien. Filing a lien extension extends the validity of the lien for a period of 1 year from the date of the extension.
