Demand for Notice

This notice is not a required filing. However, any party on a public project can deliver to the public body a Demand for Notice of Completion. Within 5 days of the project’s completion, the public body must deliver to you a notice of the same.

This is a useful filing for parties who leave a project early, who may want to lien. Since the lien period starts upon the public project’s completion, this is extra insurance that you will know when this date passes.
