Notice of Intent to Lien
Parties other than the general contractor must serve a Notice of Intent to Claim Mechanics Lien within the same period as filing the Certificate of Lien, and this must be served on the property owner. If the GC filed an affidavit with the clerk at the beginning of work, it must also be served on the general contractor.
