Missouri Mechanics Lien
The construction or mechanics lien, known in Missouri as a Claim of Lien or Mechanics Lien Statement, and is filed on private construction jobs.
Construction liens are available to parties who have performed labor or provided materials to a jobsite, and have not been paid.
Missouri Mechanics Lien Release
A mechanic lien may be canceled for a number of reasons, including that is has been satisfied, expired, or for other reasons.
Missouri Notice of Intended Sale
If the owners plans to sell the residential property where work is being performed, it shall record a notice of intended sale in the office of the recorder of deeds for the county in which the property is located at least 45 days prior to the earliest calendar date the owner intends to sell the property.

Missouri Notice of Rights
When an owner has posted / recorded a Notice of Intended Sale indicating a closing date for the sale of residential property where construction services are performed, all claimants must file a Notice of Rights at least 5 days prior to the date of closing to preserve its lien rights.
Missouri Notice of Use of Equipment
Within 5 days of first delivering rental equipment or machinery to a property, a notice must be provided to the property owner informing the owner that the rental equipment is being used on the property.
Missouri Notice to Owner
Prior to receiving any payment from the property owner, a prime contractor is required to deliver a Disclosure Notice to the Property Owner. Failure to deliver this notice will result in the prime contractor losing its right to lien.
Missouri Consent of Owner
On owner-occupied residential projects, only the prime contractor has lien rights, unless a Notice of Consent is obtained by the prime contractor before work begins.
Missouri Request for Legal Property Description
On residential projects, all claimants must file a Notice of Rights at least 5 days before the sale of the residential project to protect lien rights. However, sometimes, the claimant does not know the legal property description for the project, or when the closing will occur. Missouri allows claimants to request this information.
