Each of Zlien’s team members are recognized by their colleagues as a green enthusiast. You wonder who reported this information and how so? Well, not only do we work in the same room but also interact amongst one another when putting in orders and when picking the next playlist for entertainment. Therefore, we are working as a team throughout the course of each day and notice each person’s step towards a greener future. So, here’s how we each express our green passion for the environment and mostly for our neighborhood in the Uptown of New Orleans.
Let’s begin with our newest member Nate, which sometimes goes by Nathan when we are needing his expertise on certain projects. Nate, our Chief Legal Officer, drives a little tiny car (not a Smart – but will we address this too) known as a Mini Cooper. He also walks all mail to our nearest post office which is over two miles away, just kidding. Next is Gretchen, who is an outstanding team player that we love to have around. No she does not drive a prius but she is sure to recycle each piece of paper that can no longer be used in the office. This helps keep it clean too, double winning!
Scott, our top dog, drives a Smart car and looks for every way to make Zlien more efficient. Lastly is Jennifer who is writing this blog – sigh! Her husband drives a Smart car, too, and she sometimes takes this to work. However, she just joined in with the neighborhood association and offered part of her home yard to be a part of replanting New Orleans.
Many trees were lost during our biggest storm, Hurrican Katrina, and now a non-profit organization Hike for KaTREEna is replacing tens of thousands of trees lost during the storm. You, the reader, are then left with a question today…Who is the most green of the Zlien team?
