Scott Wolfe Jr.
Founder & CEO
Scott drives the company’s vision. A licensed construction attorney in six states, Scott founded zlien to solve the lack of accessibility to mechanics lien and bond claim laws in the construction industry. He believes that the mechanics lien and bond claim remedies are the spine to a successful construction credit policy, and leads zlien to innovate new ways for companies to control the complex compliance requirements.
Chief Legal Officer
Nate manages the legal integrity of zlien’s products, processes and resources. A graduate of Stanford and Tulane School of Law, Nate is a licensed attorney with experience in construction law and corporate credit management. He believes in making legal compliance processes simplified through systems and processes, and that it’s essential to make those systems have high legal integrity.
Director of Sales
Martin leads zlien’s sales team and business development decisions. A graduate of LSU, Martin has rich experience in sales, business development and startups as the VP of Feelgoodz and co-Founder of GiftMEO. Martin believes that businesses should have control over the construction lien and notice process, and that zlien can help organizations properly leverage the process.
Chief Operating Officer
Seth controls and manages all of zlien’s operations. A attorney licensed in California and Louisiana, Seth has experience as a construction attorney practicing as the managing partner for Wolfe Law Group, a bi-coastal construction law practice. He is a graduate of Loyola University College of Law, and Louisiana State University.
Director of Customer Experience
Gretchen is the director of customer experience, and drives zlien’s ambitious goals in delivering a Wow experience to customers. More than wowing clients, Gretchen works with clients and within the organization to insure that the zlien platform and service is accomplishing its goals in empowering clients to take new business with confidence of payment; every time.
Director of Fulfillment
Jason is zlien’s Director of Fulfillment, placing him in charge of managing the platform’s fulfillment process. In this capacity Jason monitors every system transaction, research effort, and delivery or filing. Jason drives the company’s vision of powering a great notice and lien service through powerful systems.
Chief Technology Officer
Hisham is the company’s Chief Technology Officer. He is charge of managing zlien’s team of developers, implementing the development strategy, and imagining and managing the platform’s architecture. A graduate of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, Hisham has experience working with Microsoft as the technical lead for Bing’s SafeSearch team, and providing custom software solutions for companies as founder of Yubb Software.
Lien and Bond Controller
Cassie is the controller for all mechanics lien and bond claim filings placed through the zlien platform. Cassie works with county recorders across the country, affiliated couriers, and our integrated mailing system to monitor and manage all filings.
Dave is part of the zlien business development team. He has interacts with company clients and partners daily to help deliver the company’s mission of empowering those in the construction industry to always have confidence of payment through intelligent credit management and a powerful mechanics lien and preliminary notice compliance platform.
Sean is a research controller. He monitors and manages zlien’s integrated research system, and conducts research on projects submitted by clients into the system.
Emily is zlien’s Culture Director, and makes sure that the company lives out one of its important core values: “Have Fun.”
Lauren is the Press Relations manager for zlien, coordinating contact with press agencies, trade associations, partner platforms, and more. She also does editing of company materials and publications. She helps zlien implement its core value of “Accessibility,” by helping the company make the lien process and lien materials more accessible to its clients and the public.

Board of Directors
Scott Wolfe, Jr.
Scott Wolfe Jr. is the Founder and CEO of zlien. He is a licensed attorney in six states with experience in construction law litigation and corporate credit management matters. Prior to founding zlien, Scott founded and was the managing partner for Wolfe Law Group, a bi-coastal construction law practice. Scott has technical experience as the former President of The Web Lab, a national software development company. He has his B.A. from Southern Methodist University, and his J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law.
Michael S. Gollner is the Founder of Operating Capital Partners LLP. He served as a Partner at Court Square Capital Partners. Mr. Gollner joined Court Square Partners in 1999 and was the Managing Director of the European office. He was also the Managing Director at Citigroup Venture Capital, which he joined CVC in 1999. Prior to joining CVC, Mr. Gollner worked for ten years in European Mergers and Acquisitions Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs International and Lehman Brothers International. He served on the Board of BDT Engineering A Novo SA, BDT Thermal, Flender GmbH, Rexel S.A., and Winergy AG. Mr. Gollner received a B.A. from Tulane University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He also received an M.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
Amith Nagarajan is the principal at Abstraction Ventures, a firm providing equity funding to early-stage, high-potential growth companies. He is also the co-founder of Aptify, a association and membership management software solutions to a global clientele. Aptify has been named to the Inc. 500 list of the fastest growing privately held companies in America, as well as receiving recognition from Software magazine as one of the top 500 software companies in the world.Prior to founding Aptify Corporation, Amith worked in the R&D laboratories at Hewlett-Packard Company in Palo Alto, California. He graduated from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California with a concentration in Business Administration.
George H. Wilson, Jr., is president and chief executive officer of Barriere Construction. He graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans in 1975 and received a master’s degree in business administration from Tulane in 1986. George currently serves as vice president of the New Orleans District of the Louisiana Associated General Contractors and as an executive committee member of the Business Council of New Orleans and the River Region. George is also a board member of the New Orleans Startup Fund.

Jane Wolfe, a graduate of Tulane University, is currently seeking her Masters in Theological Studies at Harvard Divinity School. Her focus is on social entrepreneurship. She is a accomplished veteran entrepreneur as the former co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Wagners Meat Markets, a chain of convenience stores and superettes that ranked in the Inc. Inner City 100. She is also the co-founder and former marketing executive for Wolfman Construction (Top 25 Private Contractor in New Orleans) and Chicken Box Restaurants (New Orleans Innovation of the Year). She is a co-founder of zlien, but taking a break from her executive duties to pursue her Masters degree. She sits on the Advisory Board for Ubuntu at Work, a social enterprise that operates in South Africa, India, Rwanda, Uganda, and the United States to offer women living in poverty opportunities to expand their capabilities and skills, access global markets and escape poverty.
